Carbon footprint audits:

What is Your Carbon Footprint? ...
Your carbon footprint is the direct effect your actions and lifestyle have on the environment in terms of carbon dioxide emissions. Probably the biggest contributors to your carbon footprint are your travel needs, and your electricity demands at home. However, all your actions have a direct or indirect impact, including your diet, and the clothes you wear.

We know cars, buses and aeroplanes burn fossil fuels, public transport may use fossil fuels and electricity and your home uses a significant portion of your personal electricity needs that generally comes from fossil fuel burning power plants. All these actions contribute to accelerating global warming and climate change.

Lighting audits & Energy Audits:

+ Lighting Audit consists of performing a light audit on all areas of nominated site eg : office , administration , corridors , general purpose areas etc.
+ Lighting audits will be performed after dark if possible to obtain true levels all year round.
+ All light levels will be recommended as per Australian standards AS 1680.2.1 and AS1680.2.2 which shows the minimum lighting levels for nominated areas.
+ We will conduct common lighting measures eg: are light fittings clean , removing or replacing inefficient diffusers reflectors which in some cases can double light output, remove lights or less tubes where less light is needed such as near windows, above shelving doorways etc, install daylight or movements sensors to control unwanted light usage, etc.
+ Recommendations on delamping if required some instances upgrading to a more efficient tubes or lamps, this practise is most commonly performed within corridors.
+ Recommendations on energy waste commonly by lighting being left on unnecessarily which can be simply avoided by indicating switching areas at the light switch.
+ We will look at all areas to determine are you making the most of natural light can you install skylights, install energy efficient products.
+ Next step is to recommend changes to your lighting system which will help reduce your electricity and maintenance bill by surprising amounts however a much greater pay-off will lie in developing a coordinated energy management system to suit your needs maximise savings by learning to understand and control energy usage the same way you would want to control any business activity.
+ We will provide detailed life cost comparison of energy efficient product replacing what is being used currently.
+ We will provide detailed engineered documents using Dialux lighting software provided and conducted by a qualified electrical engineer.
